03-07 5blade 63/64 HE351CW

Recently purchased and just installed the 63/64 in my 2006 5.9 auto. I installed with a steed speed 3rd gen manifold and did 110# springs and HD pushrods. For far this turbo seems like the perfect step up for my 30% injectors. Seems to spoil at 1600 rpm unloaded but cruising at 60 I see 5-8psi! This thing sounds great. I tow 14k lbs throughout the summer and am curious as to how this will perform! Anyone looking for a step up to lower egt, add some breathing room and not lose too much spool this is a perfect replacement.

I ran this turbo both on my 2003 5.9 manual truck with 50hp injectors and on my 2006 5.9 auto (stock stall speed) truck with stock injectors. It spooled VERY well on both and has manageable EGTs. The sound is absolutely incredible as to be expected. It’s been my favorite turbo to run on a 5.9 truck with stock/small injectors for sure, the 64mm turbine is a nice balance of quick spool and flow. Great middle ground turbo if you aren’t looking to max out the HE351 frame with the larger 67mm turbine.
